Goin' to the zoo, zoo, zoo

We have been looking forward to taking our nephew, J-, to the Cleveland Zoo months now. J- is proficient at recognizing animals in board books and making their sounds, but we were eager to see how he reacted to the real ones. Plus neither of us had been to the zoo for years.

Getting good reaction pictures of J- was difficult since we didn't trust most of the animals with our camera and they were the ones with the best view. You'll have to use your imagination, as his face is usually plastered to the glass. The fish family and the monkey family were definitely his favorites.

They had a little petting zoo with some goats, a miniature pony, and a few other animals. Uncle Mike helped J- be brave.
