Go Bananas! Eliza's Second Birthday Celebration

This is Eliza telling you that she's two. She just hasn't figured out how to hold up just two fingers.

The day after her birthday we had a little party at the indoor playground with some of her friends. Since Eliza is a fan of monkeys and bananas, I chose (I mean she chose) that as the theme.

We had monkey cupcakes, banana-shaped sugar cookies, and a few other treats, then sent the monkey guests home with fresh bananas. Most of the party consisted of monkeying around on the playground though.

Before the guests arrived, Eliza helped herself to the treats.

I made Eliza a special birthday outfit for the celebration.

Eliza enjoyed playing on the playground. We are very blessed to have such a nice (and free!) facility just a few minutes away!

Daddy and Caleb had fun on the playground too!

One of Eliza's favorite little friends made the trip down from Chicago (with her mommy's help) to join in the celebration.

Eliza had a very happy birthday!
