We kept costumes a little simpler this year since mom was busy and not feeling very well. You'll remember the Wolf from a few years back. We have carefully stored his wolf nose that he crafted himself in hopes of using it again.
Josh had fun helping me with the costumes while the older kids were at school. He liked wearing his costume, but was extra thrilled when we saw himself in the mirror. It was so cute to see him realize what he looked like with his pig nose and ears.
In order to make the three little pigs into a 5-person family costume, I was a PIG Building Supply Co. employee who sold the pigs their building materials.
Usually we have several different Halloween activities spread over a couple days, but this year all of our activities fell on Halloween itself. We stopped by and visited Great Grandpa, as has become our tradition. All the elderly people love seeing our costumes each year.
We trick-or-treated in the rain in conjunction with a party at our friends' house. Even though it was wet and cold, there were no complaints. The kids would have continued gathering candy all night if we had let them!
