You guessed it! On the floor of our first house!! And it felt great!
Yesterday morning we closed on our home. Our agent said this is the fastest he has ever had anyone close. It worked out perfect for us. The sellers were eager to close fast, too, so that made it really nice. We had a home inspection a few days after signing the contract and he said that everything looked good, so we didn't have any holdups with getting the sellers to fix anything. The mortgage went smoothly. We were actually ready to close last Friday, but the sellers' lawyer was booked until yesterday.
We've brought a few things over from storage (aka the Noonan's garage) today, but will be getting the rest of it tomorrow. We're getting a UHaul tonight to go pick up a free piano I found on craigslist! I can hardly wait! Stay tuned for pictures of our home sweet home (I'm waiting until we have at least some furniture in because pictures of empty rooms are kind of boring).
We feel so very blessed to own our first home (well, twenty percent of it, at least)! If you're ever near Champaign, Illinois, we would LOVE to have you stay with us! We miss everyone so much!
P.S. I am way, way behind on reading all of your blogs in my Google Reader. As soon as things get put back together, I am eager to catch up on what everyone else has been up to this month.

Congrats on your new house! The pictures look great! Once you get settled and unpacked you have to post more of the inside and outside. Make sure you get Eliza in there as well. You can’t pass up cute baby pictures.

Hi Steph! Congratulations on the new house. That is so exciting! And tell Mike good luck with law school. That’s great that he’s doing that. I’m so glad that Paul is almost done with school though. It’s a long time to be in school, but well worth it!
