I got Eliza this little dress at a yard sale for $1. It looked brand new! The turtle neck came from a different yard sale for a quarter. My skirt was a long one I bought at Gabriel Brothers about 5 years ago probably for $3, then I cut it to make a knee-length skirt. I was excited that they matched pretty well!
Throwing babies makes me really nervous. It always has. Unfortunately, Eliza (and any baby I've ever met) loves it. She was not her usual bubbly self during this photo shoot. It was a combination of being very ready for a nap, being freezing cold, wanting some milk, and needing a new diaper (we found out later). So in order to get any smiles out of this kiddo, she had to be launched into the air.
Stay tuned for some solo Eliza pictures tomorrow. Eliza is 9 months today, but I won't write about it until tomorrow when we get her growth stats at the doctor!
