Here's a before-and-after.
I don't need to tell you which is which. It really affects her whole countenance. Seeing her sad eyes makes me want to cry. Poor girl! The sad picture was taken on an especially bad eye day over Christmas break. I don't usually take pictures on her really bad days (or I at least try to clean her eyes up as much as possible right before each shot). Her eyes obviously (if you have seen other pictures on our blog in the past 6 months) weren't this bad everyday, thank goodness. Now her eyes are goop-free and irritation-free everyday! No wiping during the day, no scrubbing at bathtime. Life is good.
Here are a couple of other close-ups from the past week or so. When she notices I have the camera out taking candid shots, she always comes to try to get it, so I end up with lots of close-ups like this.
I didn't do any touching up to these pictures. The flash makes this one look like she has lipstick on. It doesn't help that she has a serious, model-type look on her face (and gorgeous big blue eyes).

Oh what a difference!! She looks so much more comfortable! And her eyes are beautiful! They were before too =) Now they just get to be the predominant feature!
She looks so much better! That one picture was taken at our apartment! I'm glad that now we can see her beautiful bright blue eyes instead of all that goopy stuff :)
