Law School Softball Spring Season

I only brought the camera to the last game this season, mostly because all of our other games were freezing and/or rainy. I was planning on sitting the season out since I'm pregnant, but Mike really wanted me to play, and the team always needs girls, so I played and, of course, enjoyed myself.

For anyone who thinks Mike is crazy for encouraging his pregnant wife to play such a serious and competitive sport, rest assured that this about as strenuous as it got for me. Oh, and my attempted sprint to first which always felt like I was running in quicksand. If I was safe, they put in a pinch runner for me.

When she's not eating dirt, Eliza munches on softballs.

Usually our dugout and bleachers were packed with kids, but here there are only 4! I think we've decided to invest in a baby gate for our dugout next season.

I had fun taking some action shots of Mike.

He's going to be embarrassed about showing some skin here, but I had to post it because of the great expression on his face!

You are quite the photographer! Looks like you all had fun. I love how everyone has an intense look on their face except for Eliza, who is happily munching on a softball! =) We miss you!

It sounds like you have a great Law School community in Illinois. Were these things established when you got there? Are there a lot of Mormons around those parts? It seems like it... you had a nice post about law school babies earlier.
