Caleb at 9 Months

Caleb is such a fun little guy. He laughs so easily with the most contagious little giggle. Eliza has so much fun wrestling with him. He is one tolerant opponent!

Caleb has 7 teeth: 4 on the top, 3 on the bottom. We are curious about when the other bottom tooth is going to show up to even things out.

Caleb is finally moving around by rolling. It has taken him a long time to get to this point. It doesn't look like he'll e crawling really soon, which is fine with me. I like being able to set him down (like when I'm in the shower or cooking dinner) and know that he can't get out of my sight. Eliza likes to try to help him in the mobility department by pulling his legs and dragging him around, which is not the best way to get around, but better than when she tries to pick him up. Even though he thinks it's hilarious, I don't let her get too far with him.

Caleb is a great eater as long as it's baby food. He hasn't tried many actual solid solids. He has puffs, but sometimes will gag on them. Eliza is happy to scarf down whatever puffs he doesn't eat. Eliza love to feed Caleb and does really well.

Caleb still gets up for a midnght and 5am snack of mommy milk. We really need to just force him to sleep through the night, but we keep finding excuses (Mike is in finals or Caleb's congested or Eliza really needs her sleep). Hopefully in the next monthly report I will be able to tell you that my 10-month-old finally sleeps through the night. Eliza was 11 months old when I finally stopped the night feedings, so we're still ahead.

I can't believe how big your kids are getting! Good luck with the sleeping through the night thing! It took us WAY too long to figure that out, and I'm not quite sure how we did it. Wish I had advice.
