Bowling

Usually Mike's work has happy hour get-togethers, but this time they opted for a bowling party. Our family chooses free bowling over free drinks any day, so we were excited! It was Eliza's first time bowling. She loved it!

Toddler-sized shoes: something you'd expect at BYU, but a very pleasant surprise for the University of Illinois. Our little shoe fanatic was thrilled to find out that this sport requires special shoes.

"I want to do it by myself" is Eliza's most popular line these days. Bowling was no different. No one even lost a toe!

She was the youngest bowler, but you wouldn't know it looking at her score! Bumpers are great for your bowling score and self-esteem.

Caleb and Jonathan entertained each other.

I love how she puts her hands on her hips as she tries to wait patiently for her special pink ball.

We had to literally pry this girl away when it was time to go!

I also love the toddler bowling shoes. It really makes the whole experience :). Fabulous pic at the top of your page with the kiddos in the hats. Super cute.

This is so adorable. I've requested bumpers a few times (which would dramatically improve my score), but they never oblige. Time to go with the kids! But really, she is so stinkin' cute.
