At his 9 month mark, it didn't seem like crawling was going to happen anytime soon, but sure enough, at 10 months this little guy is all over the place. He does a speedy army crawl, which looks a lot like a slithering lizard. It's fun to have him be mobile. It's easy for him to keep himself happy that way. Speaking of happy, that could be Caleb's middle name. People are always asking me if he is always so chill and content. Of course he gets tired and upset at times, like all babies, but he really is a jolly little guy. His laugh will melt your heart. He giggles so easily and frequently. Between Eliza being silly (or pretty much just looking at him) to elicit laughs and his ticklish neck and tummy, this boy has very little time to relax his grin.
Caleb is a good eater. He eats some table food (spaghetti, rice, bananas, cheerios) and some baby food (you know, the mushy textured stuff). He still loves Mama's milk too.
Caleb loves being outside (eating sticks and such), but looking out the window is the next best thing. He is not content with just sitting on the couch. He insists on climbing on top of you until he can see out the window. (Don't worry, we don't let him sit like this by himself.)
Caleb keeps himself happy wandering around the kitchen floor while I make dinner.
Caleb knows the toys that I don't like for him to have and he always seems to get them. Here he has Eliza's fairy wand that has small beads on it. Thankfully Eliza is not only a merciless protector of her stuff, she is also a vigilant little mommy who makes sure Caleb obeys the big mommy.
