Happy 1st Birthday Caleb!

 The highlight of Caleb's (last minute) birthday celebration was seeing him devour his very own cake.  He was a little shy at first, but eventually got down to business.  Fortunately we had his party outside and just happened to be dog sitting for the month, so the clean-up was a cinch!

Caleb wanted to grab the candle, so I helped him blow it out.

He started by eating all the bugs, which I also helped with.

Then he did what was necessary to get the best angle possible.

Then he got down to business!  He even shared with the dog.

Everyone else ate bug cupcakes...

...and ice cream in the hammock.
