Joshua at 2 months

Josh has been smiling and giggling a lot this month (though there are lots of times when he is tomato-faced screaming too).  Time goes by faster with each kid.  Joshie seems to have gotten to the smiling phase so much faster than the other kids.

This is one of the first pictures I got of Josh smiling.  Daddy is really good at getting those smiles out of him.

Here is Josh with his friend Finn.  Finn was born just a couple weeks after Josh, though their due dates were about 5 weeks apart.  They did their best to close the age gap between them (Josh came a week and a half late and Finn came a week and a half early). As you can see, they were both thrilled to have their picture taken.

Josh has been a victim of sibling sticker abuse.

We told Eliza and Caleb that Josh does tummy time so that his neck can get strong.  They are the best little cheerleaders for him and always let us know when Josh lifts his head up.

Doesn't he look so tiny compared to those other two?

Eliza got Josh to hold her bracelet.  She wanted a picture of this momentous occasion.  She was much more excited about it than he was.

We love our big-eyed, bushy-haired baby boy!

Joshua is sleeping pretty well at night once he gets to sleep.  He goes down with us somewhere around 11-12 at night, but it may take an hour of me reaching over every five minutes to put his pacifier back in before he goes to sleep.  He'll wake up around 4 for some Momma milk, then sleep for another couple hours before he wants some more.  We don't have a rigid schedule during the day.  He naps and eats as he pleases during the day.  Sometimes it coincides with the older kids' nap (when they take one), which is a bonus.  During the day his naps of consequence (meaning more than five minutes) are either on my lap or in the car seat, though I have successfully laid him down a few times.

Stay tuned for his growth stats.  His well baby check isn't for another week (the doc took a long vacation for the holidays).  I am as curious as anyone!

A schedule? I didn't realize that was possible for babies. =) Great job raising some great and good looking kids!

What a great smiling picture of him! And that's funny how your kids stick stickers on him. :)
