Shedd Aquarium

In February, we took a day trip to Chicago to go to the Shedd Aquarium with the Newtons and Cromars.  The Newtons were able to get us in on a pretty sweet deal!  Mike really likes fish, so we made sure to go on a day when he could go with us.  We didn't take very many pictures (unlike the tweens in front of us who took pictures of every single fish with their iPhones), but we had a really fun time!

Caleb managed to get lost within minutes of entering the exhibits.  Thankfully a nice security guard found him.  Eliza got lost later and was much more traumatized than Caleb.  I guess we need to go to crowed places more often so our kids learn not to walk off (or so we can learn to keep track of our kids better).

This one is for you Uncle Dan.  I thought this snake was gorgeous!

Eliza enjoyed dressing up like a penguin and playing on the penguin playground.

Daddy helped Caleb and Eliza touch Starfish.

The poor starfish were as far away as they could be.  I'm guessing they are tired of being petted thousands of times a day.

The kids enjoyed soaking themselves in the water play area.

The jellyfish exhibit was very interesting.

Caleb, Eliza, and Grace.  We don't have a single picture with more than one kid looking at the camera, so to be fair, I chose one where no one was looking!
