Caleb is such a silly little guy. He is always joking around and giving silly answers to anything you ask him. He is generally happy, though he easily falls into the victim role when Eliza taunts him or does something he doesn't like. He is a little charmer when there is something he wants. He tilts his head to the side and pleads. When the answer is no, he always comes back with an argument that starts "Wellll...."
Caleb loves his "music shirt" (see above). This hand-me-down is Caleb's all-time favorite article of clothing because it plays a little rock music when you press the button. It's been too small for months now, but he always manages to snatch it from the "too small" pile (until now).
Caleb eats broccoli voluntarily without coaxing. That has nothing to do with the picture above of making gingerbread cookies with Grandma Melinda, but I thought it deserves mentioning.
So full of energy this kid! Caleb does a lot of singing. Eliza sang "Easter Hosanna" in church with
the Primary on Easter. As she practiced beforehand, Caleb ended up
learning the entire song too. It's his most recent favorite. He calls
it "The prophecies of long ago" since that's how it starts. Other
favorites include "The Wise Man and The Foolish Man," "I Love to See the
Temple" and "Little Bunny Foo Foo."
Caleb is a tender big brother. He takes good care of Joshy and loves to help him calm down when he is crying. It's pretty darling to hear him using a sweet voice with baby.
