Even though I know this, we still had the following conversation the other day:
"We have to pick up legs first," says Caleb at the table as we are about to pray over lunch.
"What?" I say
"We need to pick up the legs before be pray."
"Huh?" I still don't get it. Folding arms has nothing to do with legs.
"The Legos!"
Silly me.
The other day Caleb was waving around a wooden dowel. Excited, he came to me and said, "Hey Mom, be quiet and listen to this" (I didn't know he knew the meaning of those words). I listened to the whirring noise that his "stick" was making as he quickly waved it back and forth. "My stick can breathe! Do you hear it breathe? It's breathing really fast like 'huh uhuh uhuh uhuh.'"
