Most of the people who come to the Employment Resource Center here are not members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The resources are open to everyone. Subsequently, most of the participants we have had in the workshop are not members. In order to get the word out to the members, we made posters to put up the the church buildings. We used some of our extra wedding annoucement photos to draw attention. People often recognize us from seeing our picture on the bulletin board. Included on the poster is a little envelope with slips of paper that give the details of the workshop. The slips of paper go like hotcakes (or tortillas, if you will). We have learned, however, that there is a vast difference in the level of commitment required to take a slip of paper and the level of commitment to show up at the center at 8:00 Monday morning.

This picture was taken in the process of making the posters. You can see that the one in the bottom right is not quite finished.
