This month has flown by! It's hard to believe Eliza's already 5 months old... unless you pick her up. Then you will think she's more like 12 months. She is over 20 lbs now and has 2 teeth. Other highlights of the month include:
- Meeting Grandpa and Grandma Hodnett for the first time
- Looking around a lot, especially when she hears noises
- Grabbing feet
- Rolling over from back to front (we're still waiting for front to back)
- Moving into size 3 diapers
- Swimming with mom and dad
- Spitting bubbles like crazy
- Sticking tongue out
- Backpacking for the first time (Don't worry, we didn't make her carry her own pack!)
- Loving the outdoors

She is so cute! I love her smile! TWENTY POUNDS at 5 months?!? That is incredible! My Jaron didn’t even make 20 pounds by a year (he turns 5 in a couple of months and is only 12 pounds heavier than Eliza!). This is such a fun post–I liked reading what she has been doing this month! I can’t believe how fast she is growing. Amazing–it seems like you just barely told us you were expecting!
She is darling! She is so smiley and happy, I love it! And so big– you must get quite a workout carrying her around. Both of mine were under 20 at 1, yikes!! I love it when they start playing with their own feet- so cute.

Adorable! Jay loves to look at these pictures, cause she’s “so cute” (said in a high Jay voice with his head cocked to the side). About Jay’s hair…we’re getting to a haircut, but his hair looks adorable in the humidity cause it curls in the back and on the side. Sadly, inside it just looks like a mop. Mom is going to be sad when we get it cut, but I’m planning on taking him this week so he looks cute and classy for pics with baby sister.
Nice post! She is so cute… and large! I think that Sara is in size 3 diapers, and she is 1 year, 2 months. Crazy. Everytime you post an update, I marvel at how you had her naturally.

I cannot believe how much she looks like Baby Stephanie!! Big babies are best!! It is a Baker tradition (and probably a Hodnett one also). How are you guys? Are you still alive? How is Illinois? We need more blogs! Come and visit ours when you have time. Love ya!
She’s so cute! And big! Is she really tall too? She kind of reminds me of my little one. He’s a big, tall kid too (although he wasn’t quite 20 lbs at 5 months) and he rolled back to front first and at 6 months still doesn’t go the other way yet.
nevermind, he was 20 lbs at 5 months. I was thinkiing of his 3 month checkup where he was 18lbs
