We went shooting. Most people hit clay pigeons. I like to be different.
We played lots of tennis. Even Mike's mom got in on the action!
Eliza had her first real swim. She was eager to put on her new swimsuit (size 18 months... yikes)!
Auntie Ingrid shared her Hawaiian culture with us through activities and food. We were flattered that she chose a Hawaiian name for each of us. Mine is Ku'uipo (sweetheart), Mike's is Kapa'a (firm & steadfast) and Eliza's is Leialoha (beloved child). Here's a family shot from Aloha Tuesday.
We went 4-wheeling. We went up to see beautiful meadows of flowers. It was my first time 4-wheeling. Mike let me take him on a pretty good ride! Here's Mom and Dad Hodnett leaving on a ride:
Eliza got to meet lots of new people, including her Aunt Elizabeth who made her a cute blanket (in picture with grandpa). She really is happy, despite the frightened look on her face.
Eliza had fun meeting and playing with Grandma and Grandpa Hodnett
There were so many people who wanted to hold Eliza and watch her while Mike and I played, which was really nice. We enjoyed spending time with her as well. She loved having daddy there during the day!

Looks like you guys got a lot of fun squeezed into a week!
Eliza looks adorable in her swimming suit, even if it is 18 months… ha ha.
