A while back, my cousin Paula made one of those "first five people" blog posts where she promises to make something for the first 5 people to comment on that particular post. Also in the rules is that those who comment must also participate by making the same offer on their blogs.
I was one of the first to comment and boy and I'm glad I was! I didn't expect anything big and exciting, so, needless to say, I was absolutely thrilled when I got a package in the mail with these two adorable handmade shirts for Eliza, as well as 2 bibs made from BYU fabric for our little boy! We have already received lots of compliments on these stylish additions to Eliza's wardrobe. Everyone is asking where they can buy them!

Now you're probably wondering why I have not made the "first five people" offer on my blog yet. No reason, actually, other than my typical lack-of-blogging excuses. I can promise that my offerings will pale in comparison to Paula's generous and talented offering. In fact, they will probably be in a completely different medium because I'm still so intimidated by Paula's sweet sewing! I actually have no idea what I'm going to make, so don't get your hopes up too much!

Yay for the pics! If your owl eyes fall off, I apologize. I was rushing to get them out and forgot to stich the eyes.
I know that Sara had an issue with them and pulled hers off. I guess she was jealous and wanted the biggest eyes.
Oh, and you can totally copy the shirts. I found the pattern for the owl on etsy. They have lots of cute ideas.
There are a lot easier owls to make then the one I chose. I can't find my owl even on there anymore. I just transferred the image to MS word, printed it, and made a pattern.
