Touch a Truck

Eliza and I enjoyed the park district's annual "Touch a Truck" event at a park near our house. We got to see, touch, and go inside of lots of interesting vehicles. There was a firetruck, tow truck, police car, bomb squad van, bookmobile, school bus, race car, motorcycle, and monster truck to name a few favorites.

After walking down the aisle of a school bus, one of the bus drivers is trying to help her out the back. Right after I snapped this shot, Eliza freaked out and ran back toward the line of kids. She wouldn't let the man help her, so pregnant momma had to jump up into the bus to retrieve her.

I was trying to get a picture in the scoop/bucket, but Eliza kept following me when I walked away to take the picture.


Eliza's favorite part was the free Coldstone ice cream which she is displaying on her lower lip!
