Caleb at 29 months

 Don't look too closely at that dirty face!

• Caleb is still a bundle of energy and bounces everywhere he goes.
•  Lately Caleb has been rushing through his prayers and slurring his speech so that his prayers are nearly unintelligible.   
• Caleb loves pretending to be a dinosaur so he can roar at Eliza.
• Caleb is quite the jokester.  He says silly things and then exclaims "I made a joke!"
• Caleb can "read" Goodnight Moon. 
• Whenever Joshua needs a new diaper, Caleb runs to get a new one and then throws away the old one.
• Whenever we tell Eliza not to do something, Caleb immediately starts doing it.  He is also learning some sass from her.

  This is probably the longest Caleb's hair has ever been.  Mike cut it after these pictures were taken.

 One day Caleb got down from the table at lunch time and insisted on eating standing up.  I asked what he was doing and he told me he wanted to be like a grown-up (I was standing up bouncing Joshua as I ate my lunch and Mike was doing dishes or something).  He stood there bouncing slightly (like me) as he finished his sandwich.

 For preschool we made homemade finger paints out of cornstarch.  My kids loved squishing the jelly-like paints in their hands.

 Caleb was thrilled when we finally got some snow.  We'd had a few dustings prior to the actual snow, and he was eager to go play in those too.
