Joshua at 14 months and 15 months

The Friday before Christmas (when Josh was just over 14 months old) he decided to start walking.  Up to this point he had only taken a couple steps when coaxed and would fall into the arms of the person calling for him.  We decided to go to a community potluck and sing along that Mike saw advertised on a flyer at the post office (we live in a very small place).  We were by far the youngest ones there and the only ones with kids (besides a newborn).  Josh just decided to start walking.  It was a fun surprise.  He has improved a lot in the past couple weeks and mostly walks instead of crawling.  I love the beginning to toddle stage with arms outstretched and every step a little shaky.

Josh enjoyed his first trip to the beach.  Seeing his little toes curl up as he felt sand under his feet for the first time was great.  He loved splashing in the water with his hands.  He did a lot of crab-walking.

Josh loves taking a bath.  We usually shower him because we are lazy, but when he gets to go in the tub he is in heaven.  We really need to stop depriving him of his childhood and let the kid take baths.

Most days Josh takes two naps.  He has stopped sleeping through the night too, which isn't cool.

Josh is currently my best eater.  He eats just about everything without complaining (the other two do enough complaining to make up for it though).  He loves clementines.  He will go through 2 or 3 of the little Cuties at a time.

Josh is a budding musician.  Besides dabbling in piano, he likes to sing "la la la" along with anything you are singing.  You can see that he feels the rhythm of music as he bops along to whatever music is playing.

After lunch, someone gave Josh the chocolate out of his stocking (which was supposed to be for me).  Obviously he enjoyed it.

Caleb loves playing with Josh.  This is just one of the many games they play together.

We sure do love this little guy.  He is growing up so fast!
