For the four years we lived in Illinois, we would take the kids with us when we would go to the temple each month (it was a 3 hour drive each way). Then we would either take turns or swap babysitting with another family. Now that we live only an hour from a temple, it is easy to let Grammy stay with the kids while Mike and I go to the temple. The kids don't get to actually see the temple as much as they did in Illinois.
Back in October, we decided to take a Sunday stroll around the Sacramento Temple grounds with the kiddos. I wished we would have coordinated the kids clothes for cute pictures, but we got some cute photos anyway.
We also stopped by to visit Mike's grandpa who lives nearby in Folsom.
