My friend Jenn invited Eliza and I to go to Veteran's Pool with her and Kate one afternoon (June 25th). I am between swimsuits, I guess you could say, so I decided to just stay clothed. Eliza doesn't have a swimsuit yet, so I figured she should stay clothed too. Besides, I didn't want Daddy to miss her first swim. Well, it was HOT, Jenn had an extra swim diaper, and Eliza wouldn't stop begging, so I gave in and let her take a dip. Besides, a onesie is a lot closer to a swimsuit than what I was wearing.
Here are a few pics that Jenn took of the big plunge!

Very cute!
She didn’t seem to mind being suit-less one bit!
What a fun time! I would love to take Eliana swimming once she gets here, but I don’t think the season will last that long. You are both so cute.
She is so adorable, and you look GREAT too! I love the little hat. I made a hat for Wendi’s baby, Sara. She is bald (like Eliza) and actually lets is stay on for awhile!
she looks soooo cute and so do you. that pool is just right for babies and mommies. glad you got out and about with other kids and moms. i know how much we moms need that. wish i could have gone too. hey btw, jeremy does not get jealous of my DMOTM. he thinks it is silly of me to need eye candy but let’s me do it anyway! i fixed the june mistake. he really is for July!
Huzzah for firsts!! Eliza is just SO adorable! I always tell Trenton to go grab her from Mike (always meaning on the fifth sunday when we all meet together) but he never does. Maybe I will next time :0)
I’m glad you found our blog , and I’d be happy to share the simple directions/measurements if you need them for that blanket!
Love the between swimsuits comment. . . that’s totally where I am. . . to bad I didn’t realize that before I showed up at the family reunion at the lake and tried to put on my swimsuit. . . it didn’t fit. Oops. Great description. . .
Yea for summer and swimming! You both look great… even without swimsuits. I’m between suits now too.
