Caleb's Baby Blessing
We had Caleb's baby blessing in church on the last Sunday of September. Caleb received a beautiful blessing from his Father in Heaven through his earthly father. My parents came out for the occasion and brought along my sister, her husband, and baby as a surprise (they had told us they wouldn't be able to make it). It was fun to have family around for Caleb's special day.
I made one of my tie onesies using a fancy bridal fabric for the tie. I used the same fabric to make some little shorts to match. Not nearly as elaborate and pretty as what my mom made for Eliza's baby blessing, but Mike promised me that Caleb would not be jealous of Eliza's dress.
Babies went down for naps and clothes were changed right after church, so we didn't get any good father & son pictures on Caleb's blessing day, so we got everyone dressed up and tried again two weeks later. Between keeping Caleb happy and positioned right and keeping Eliza from tackling him, we never did get a good picture of his outfit, so you'll just have to use your imagination.
My mom, Whitney, and Chelsea stayed for an extra 2 days after my dad and Jacob went home. It was nice to have some help in the beginning of the canning madness (more to come on that). Here are a couple pictures of the kids with their cousin Chelsea:

his blessing outfit is AWESOME. nice work!
Caleb is adorable! Congrats! You have an adorable little family!
I love his outfit!! What a great idea. . . . . I'll take mental note in case we ever get around to boy offspring. I also love his quilt! Both kids are so cute!
He's such a cute little guy. I love that you made his blessing outfit out of a onsie. The tie is perfect!
Caleb is such a cutie! I wish we were there to play with him :). I absolutely love the picture of Mike with Eliza and Caleb all squished together in a big hug -- it is so sweet. Congrats on the baby blessing. That's so nice that you were able to have family there. I wonder what color eyes Caleb will end up having. They look kind of dark in the picture (compared to Eliza), but you never know at this point.
