Caleb at 4 months

I figure I better finish and post Caleb's 4 month update before he turns 5 months old next week! I'm even going to change the post date so it falls under the correct month in my archives.

Caleb is becoming quite the happy little guy! As long as someone (particularly Mommy or Daddy) is around, he is pretty smiley and giggly. He has the cutest little voice. Eliza likes to imitate his baby jabbers and squeals.

Caleb is getting pretty good with his hands. He has a great grip which will leave a bruise on your neck or pull out your hair if you aren't careful. He rolls onto his side but hasn't quite made it all the way over officially (though he has done it twice on the bed, but that doesn't really count). He doesn't get much floor time since any time Eliza is awake it isn't too safe.

Caleb loves Mama's milk. He is a noisy little eater. I always get comments on his gulping and chugging noises in the mother's lounge at church. After quite a bit of Dad's convincing, he even took it from a bottle while Mommy was shopping on Black Friday. He has had lots of other food in his mouth (thanks to his big sister Eliza), but we're pretty sure he hasn't eaten any of it. He wakes up to eat about 3 times a night and still sleeps in our room.

At his 4 month appointment, Caleb weighed 16 lbs 14oz and measured 25 1/4 inches.

So grown up!

While I was folding laundry, I put some of Daddy's (clean) socks on Caleb's hands. He absolutely loved it and it kept him entertained for quite some time.

Playing with Mommy and Daddy.

I got this snowsuit outfit at Old Navy last year for less than $2. I put him in it just for a picture. It's just 3-6 months, so it's kind of small if he's wearing anything other than a onesie under it.

In our family spit happens. A lot. (So I must document it)

We don't even wait for our freshly washed hair to dry before spitting up on everything in sight.

I could stare all day at this little sleeping wonder. Life is amazing. It's incredible to think that this beautiful little bundle that is sleeping on my lap used to be inside me and used to be microscopic. Amazing!

Little cuties!

He is getting so big! And he's quite large too! At Chelsea's 9 month appointment she was like 17 pounds. So she's smaller than Caleb, but still bigger than Carly! I feel like I haven't talked to you in ages so I'll try and give you a call in the next couple of days! Love the pictures and you guys! Talk to you soon!

They definately look like brother and sister. Especially in the sleeping picture.
