Cow Appreciation Day

Costumes? Free food?  We're there!

I'm pretty sure this is just an occasion created by Chick Fil-A, but if they want to give my whole family free meals for dressing up like cows, I'm fine with that.

Mike was doubting the worthwhile-ness of this activity as I spent the evening before sewing felt spots on our white clothes.  He wasn't sure my efforts were worth the free food.

Eliza LOVED wearing her cow costume.  She loved that Mommy, Daddy, and Caleb had cow costumes too.  She still wears her cow tiara and talks about wearing our cow costumes.  Mike agreed that seeing Eliza's excitement and making fun family memories was well worth the effort.

Caleb is the only one with black spots.  He is squeezed into a 3-6 month costume (well the top half, at least).

Eliza probably drank this entire cup of lemonade.  That was fine.  We had 3 others (or should I say "udders").  I had actually planned to use a latex glove to make udders for Eliza and I, but Mike thought we got the point across well enough without a complete anatomy.  He was probably right.

My Cow Boys

The only Chick Fil-A in town is in the student services building.  Notice all the empty seats?  We were pretty much the only ones in the place. We did manage to grab someone to take our picture.  He asked if he could snap his own as well.

Oh, we have tails, too, which really make the outifts, but we didn't get a picture of them.  Next time someone bribes us to put on cow costumes, we'll be sure to get a shot of our other ends!
