I managed to get a few action shots even while juggling 3 kids on an unseasonably cool day.
Caleb kept wanting to put the hat on backwards so the biggest brim was in the front like a baseball cap.
Eliza was thrilled to grab the wheel.
It's not very often that I get in these pictures of our outings! Thanks Mr. Fireman for offering to take our picture.
Smoky the Bear was the topic of conversation for the whole ride home (that, and why didn't the helicopter come?).
So maybe dental hygiene wasn't the first thing on your mind when you thought of a safety fair. Nonetheless, the kids enjoyed brushing the teeth of that green creature.
Touching fake animal poo probably wasn't on your safety fair list either. It was a favorite though. I enjoyed learning about local wild animal scat.
This photo of Caleb learning to dial 911 was taken by the local newspaper. You know we live in the boonies when our family has already been in the newspaper twice in our 2.5 months here!
