We happened to be there the day their town was having a parade and little fair. The parade was small and so was the audience. I guess half of the town was probably in the parade.
We learned that if you go to parades for the candy, small towns are definitely the way to go. I have never got so much candy at a parade before. This was the kids' first parade, so the bar is pretty high now. Every other parade is going to be a disappointment in the candy department.
Eliza and Caleb made friends with the dogs pretty quickly this time.
Josh enjoyed the bird bath until he started drinking the water and we found him a different activity.
The orchard provides so much wonderful shade to run around in.
Caleb and Cowboy
Debbie and Eliza dodging the sprinklers-- a favorite pastime at the orchard.
Eliza was absolutely soaked, but that didn't seem to bother her!
My dad's sister Patty planned to come visit on Saturday, but her 2 hour drive tripled (or quadrupled) when she made a few wrong turns. She made it there just as we were leaving to head home (hence, the kids in jammies), but we got to visit for a little bit.
Thanks for a wonderful time, Kevin and Debbie!
