Ward Luau

We had a great time at the annual church luau.  It was held by a park just 15 minutes from our house (which is a real treat since we normally drive 40+ minutes to get to anything).  The food was fabulous and of course the company was great.

 There's not much flat land around here, except the park where we had the luau.  With a little dish soap and some sprinklers, the giant slip 'n' slide was still a bit hit with the kids... and Mike, who was the only one over 10 to brave it.

In addition to demonstrating the slip 'n' slide, Mike filled up lots of water balloons, which disappeared in no time at all!

  I was impressed by the face painting talents.

 Besides the glittery flower, Eliza is sporting a self-made candy lei.
