Caleb at 25 months

Caleb's biggest accomplishment this month is definitely his acquisition of Potty Power (that's what we call it around here when you do your business in the right place).  With a big sister to help out and cheer him on, Caleb conquered the diaper with few hold-ups.  People will tell you that boys are harder, but in our experience, Caleb was easier than Eliza (who really wasn't anything to complain about herself).  Caleb has no qualms about using foreign potties, even the auto-flush ones.  He sometimes wakes up dry at night, but we still put a diaper on him for bed (though he always wears underwear at nap time).

Caleb loves tools.  He loves building and fixing things.

Caleb loves to jump off of things and climb up on things (usually so he can jump off).

Caleb has a great imagination.  He loves pretending to chase or be chased by sharks and wolves.  He fights them off with his tools, usually a hammer.

Caleb makes up diminutives of everything.  "Here's your birthday cakie."  "I cut the carroties."  "Go to playgroundie."

Caleb likes to do what Daddy does.  When Mike walked away from a computer-fixing project, Caleb picked up right where Daddy left off.

 Caleb loves to dig!
