Summer's End

 Despite our welcome home disaster, we still managed to have a little fun in the Illinois sun before August was over.

We visited the playground a Curtis Orchard with friends.

We picked a handful of raspberries at Pontius Farms with friends. We were a little too late in the season to get much of anything, but the kids enjoyed playing nonetheless.

We had a church activity at a local pool.  We finally invested in life jackets for the kids and they love them.  Our friend Kellie took the first two pictures.  I couldn't help adding a couple super short videos so you can see the kids in action.  I will spare you the one of Eliza jumping off the diving board (it took her forever to get the courage to jump off, though she finally did).
