This year Easter fell on the semi-annual General Conference of our church. It was fabulous! It felt like almost every talk was prepared just for our family. We learned so much about our responsibilities as parents and how we can raise our children to have strong testimonies of the Savior. What a great way to spend Easter!
We spread the "egg side" of Easter out over a few weeks. We had several egg hunts with friends. Eliza, like any other kid her age, loves finding eggs. On Easter Sunday, Eliza found eggs hidden in our living room that had goldfish crackers, raisins, and stickers in them. She gave the first egg she found to Caleb. She's such a sweet big sister! In her Easter basket she got a pail and shovel, garden gloves, sandals, bubbles, and a new snack cup. Caleb got a pail and shovel, snack cup, and a soft ball that I made.
Once again, Eliza made sure to share with her little brother. He was a happy camper with one egg to shake.
